St. John's Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital offers specialized programs and facilities for treating inpatients and outpatients with brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, amputations, arthritis, burns, or neuromuscular or musculoskeletal disorders.

The St. John's Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital is a freestanding specialty facility located near St. John's Mercy Medical Center. This newly-constructed, state of the art facility was designed specifically for patients requiring rehab services. This facility is a true healing environment that is patient- and family-centered to treat the mind, body, and spirit. The facility is equipped with garden areas, a therapeutic pool, and a majority of private rooms that are fully-equipped with TV/DVD and internet access. There are two training apartments that provide an environment to build confidence and competence in activities and skills that will be needed upon a patient's return to his or her home environment.

Located within this same facility are outpatient rehabilitation services for a variety of debilitating illnesses and injuries. There are specialty outpatient programs that focus on providing a continuum of services for those patients that require them.

St. John's Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital is a partnership between St. John's Mercy Medical Center and Centerre Healthcare. St. John's Mercy Medical Center is one of the largest Catholic health care facilities in the country and the second largest medical center in the St. Louis area. Centerre Healthcare, based in Nashville, Tenn., is a national company dedicated to developing and operating rehabilitation hospitals in partnership with leading acute care hospitals. The partnership brings to the community a state of the art rehabilitation hospital which provides quality rehabilitative services in an attractive environment conducive to our healing mission.

The St. John's Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital offers programs that range from single therapies to comprehensive, multidisciplinary programs. A care plan is created for each patient so that progression from inpatient to outpatient services is a smooth transition. At St. John's Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital, our goal is to help make each recovering patient a success story, with a return to a fulfilling lifestyle.
