Burn Care
Experienced therapists work closely with physicians, patients, and families to provide specialized burn care on an outpatient basis. Therapists also participate weekly at the Burn Clinic at St. John's Mercy Medical Center to assist in the evaluation process and promote continuity of care. Outpatient treatment emphasizes wound care, scar management, splinting, garment assessment, range of motion, strengthening, and functional daily tasks.
